Texas AG investigates two hospitals over gender-affirming care for minors

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into Texas Children's Hospital over its "gender transitioning" procedures, following a similar probe into Dell Children’s Medical Center. Paxton's office has requested 25 types of documents to be made available by June 19, 2023. The investigation comes after Texas lawmakers gave final approval to Senate Bill 14, which would prohibit transgender youth from getting puberty blockers and other hormone therapy needed to transition.
