Steve Bannon's trial for fundraising fraud and border wall scheme set for May 2024.

Steve Bannon, former advisor to Donald Trump, will stand trial in May 2024 on charges of fraud and conspiracy related to the "We Build the Wall" campaign. Bannon is accused of falsely promising donors that their money would go towards building a wall along the US-Mexico border, when in reality it was used to enrich himself and others involved in the project. Two other defendants have already pleaded guilty and been sentenced, while a third was convicted and is awaiting sentencing. Bannon's trial will take place after Trump's unrelated criminal trial in the same Manhattan courtroom.
