RFK Jr.- Aligned Super PAC Surges with $6 Million in July

American Values 2024, a super PAC supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s presidential campaign, raised $6.47 million in July, with $5 million of that coming during Kennedy's testimony in front of the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The super PAC boasts support from major donors from both parties, including Tim Mellon, Abby Rockefeller, and Gavin de Becker. Kennedy's bipartisan appeal and high favorability in polls have attracted donors who believe he can unite the country and root out corruption. Despite being a long-shot candidate, Kennedy has garnered 16 percent support in the most recent Harvard-Harris poll. The super PAC plans to file to the Federal Elections Commission that it raised about $9.8 million in the first six months of 2023.
