Ray Epps demands retraction from Tucker Carlson over conspiracy theory.

Ray Epps, a man at the center of a right-wing conspiracy theory about the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, has demanded that Fox News host Tucker Carlson retract his "false and defamatory statements" alleging that Epps was secretly working with the federal government during the attack. Epps' lawyer has demanded that Carlson and Fox News publicly retract the claim and issue a formal on-air apology for the lies spread about Epps. Epps and his wife have been subjected to threats, intimidation, and harassment as a result of the conspiracy theory. Fox News has not yet responded to the request for comment.
