Dominic Pezzola and Ethan Nordean, members of the far-right Proud Boys, have been sentenced for their roles in the January 6th Capitol riot. Nordean, one of the leaders of the group, received an 18-year prison sentence for seditious conspiracy, while Pezzola was sentenced to 10 years in prison for obstruction of an official proceeding and destruction of government property. Nordean apologized for his actions in court, claiming he came to keep people safe, while Pezzola shouted "Trump won!" as he left the courtroom. These sentences follow the recent sentencing of other Proud Boys members involved in the attack.
