Maricopa County Recorder sues Kari Lake for defamation.

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer has filed a defamation lawsuit against former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, her campaign, and a fundraising corporation for spreading lies about the 2022 election. Richer claims that Lake spread false claims about "ballot size sabotage" and "illegal ballot injection" at rallies, speeches, podcasts, and social media. Richer is seeking normal and compensatory damages, punitive damages, and the removal of all statements regarding the false claims from websites and social media accounts.
