Lawmakers to Address Tyrell Morris Car Crash and Document Modification at OPCD Meeting

Three state lawmakers are set to attend an emergency meeting of the Orleans Parish Communications District (OPCD) to discuss the investigation into Tyrell Morris, the director of the 911 call center, who is under investigation for altering public documents and his involvement in a car accident. The lawmakers expressed concerns about the modified documents and Morris's explanation of the accident. The meeting was called by the OPCD chairman and is scheduled for Thursday, July 6. New Orleans Council President and Vice President have also called for Morris's immediate suspension.
