"Kansans Vote for Stunning New License Plate Design"

Kansas held a public vote to choose a new license plate design after the original design was poorly received. Out of nearly 270,000 votes, the winning design received 53% of the vote and features the statehouse dome within the cutout of the state. The runner-ups received 19%, 13%, 10%, and 5% of the vote. The Department of Revenue will review the process, and the new design aims to meet public safety and branding guidelines.
