Jeffrey Clark Turns Himself In for Georgia Election Investigation

Former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark has surrendered to Georgia authorities in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Clark, who promoted Trump's conspiracy theories about election fraud, was charged with violation of the Georgia RICO Act and criminal attempt to commit false statements and writings. He is among several unindicted co-conspirators in a federal indictment against Trump. Trump himself turned himself in to be booked on felony charges in the Georgia probe, marking his fourth arrest since April and the first time a former U.S. president had his mug shot taken.
