High turnover rate plagues St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office as another prosecutor resigns citing toxic work environment.

Another prosecutor, Natalia Ogurkiewicz, has resigned from St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner's office, leaving only three prosecutors to handle hundreds of violent felony cases. Ogurkiewicz cited the Missouri Supreme Court's ruling that resignation is the only option when the choice is between committing malpractice and resigning. Gardner has been accused of misconduct, but she continues to claim that she should not be removed from office and is shifting the blame onto her employees.
