Gun control activist banned from Nebraska Capitol following permitless concealed carry bill passage.

A woman who protested the approval of “constitutional carry” in Nebraska by shouting “Shame!” multiple times has been banned from the Nebraska State Capitol and its grounds, except in select circumstances. Melody Vaccaro, executive director of Nebraskans Against Gun Violence, was served with a “banned and barred” notice by the Nebraska State Patrol, restricting access except for “scheduled appointments.” Vaccaro said the notice takes away her First Amendment rights and restricts her access to legislative or other government proceedings.
