GOP's Thin Allegations of Biden Bribery

Several Republicans have acknowledged that they do not know if there are tapes of Joe Biden talking about taking a bribe, despite demanding that the FBI make public a tip it received in 2020 alleging that a foreign national paid Biden $5 million and has recordings of himself talking to Biden when he was vice president. The FBI has resisted handing over a copy of the form for public consumption, maintaining that such documents contain uncorroborated information and that releasing them can endanger sources. Some Republicans have suggested that the most important question is not necessarily whether the bribe allegation is true, but whether the FBI did its due diligence investigating the derogatory material against Biden as the bureau allegedly persecutes Trump and his supporters.
