George Soros Passes Control of $25B Empire to More Political Son Alex

George Soros, the Hungarian-born American investor, is passing control of his multi-billion dollar foundation, the Open Society Foundations, to his 37-year-old son, Alexander. The younger Soros, who is more politically inclined than his father, aims to push back against a possible second term by former president Donald Trump and continue supporting liberal public policy initiatives, free speech, criminal justice reform, minority and refugee rights, and back liberal politicians. He also wants to embrace voting rights, abortion, and gender equity initiatives. Alex Soros is already focused on helping Democrats increase their appeal with Latino voters and improve Black voter turnout.
