A Florida venue canceled an event featuring Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after discovering it was meant to commemorate the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. The event, initially described as a book signing, was organized by the Republican Party of Osceola County and was to be held at Westgate Resorts in Kissimmee. Following backlash and the venue's statement of being unaware of the event's true purpose, the event was canceled. Greene, known for her support of Trump's claims about the 2020 election and for downplaying the Jan. 6 events, did not comment on the cancellation when asked.
