Ex-Trump Official Scott Turner Nominated as HUD Secretary

President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Scott Turner as the new Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Turner, who previously served as executive director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council, will take on the role amid a national housing crisis. Under his leadership, opportunity zones attracted over $50 billion in private investment. Turner also has experience as a former professional football player and Texas state legislator.
