"Ex-Manhattan Prosecutor to Testify in Trump Indictment Probe After House GOP and Manhattan DA Settle Dispute"

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the House Judiciary Committee have reached an agreement for former senior prosecutor Mark Pomerantz to testify before the panel as part of its probe into the DA's office. Pomerantz previously served as one of the DA's top prosecutors in the criminal investigation of former President Trump. He resigned in February 2022, shortly after DA Alvin Bragg took office and more than a year before Trump was indicted. Pomerantz will be questioned by the committee on May 12 alongside legal counsel from the DA's office.
