Dunn, who has been awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal by President Biden, is entering a crowded Democratic primary to succeed retiring Representative John Sarbanes. He aims to combat the forces that led to the Capitol attack and to advocate for issues such as women's reproductive rights, gun reform, voting rights, and affordable health care.
