DOJ fights to block Trump deposition in Strzok and Page lawsuits.

A federal judge has blocked the deposition of former President Donald Trump in connection with lawsuits filed by former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The Justice Department had urged the judge to reconsider an earlier ruling that said Trump and FBI Director Christopher Wray could be deposed in the lawsuits. The judge referred to her February ruling that Trump and Wray could be deposed for no more than two hours and limited to a “narrow set of topics” in lawsuits Strzok and Page brought against the Justice Department and the FBI in 2019.
