DHS funding showdown as GOP pushes back on Dem ICE reform demands

With DHS funding deadline looming, Senate Republicans criticize Democrats’ calls for ICE guardrails and reform as unrealistic, while Democrats push measures like body cameras, warrants for certain searches, ID checks, and other accountability steps, plus a move to remove DHS Secretary Noem and wind down operations in Minneapolis.
