DeSantis stands up to heckler during South Carolina campaign stop

Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis shut down a heckler during a speech on left-wing indoctrination in public schools in South Carolina. The heckler called him a "f—ing fascist" apparently for his stance on "kids’ healthcare." DeSantis responded by saying, "We’re not gonna let you impose an agenda on our kids! We’re gonna stand up for our kids!" DeSantis has been criticized for signing into law a prohibition on the discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation in public schools from kindergarten to third grade. He has also signed a bill giving parents the right to freely obtain education curricula.
