Despite concerns about President Joe Biden's fitness, Democrats have rallied around him and he is almost certain to be the Democratic Party’s nominee as long as he wants. While there are provisions in the DNC Charter to replace the nominee in case of incapacitation or resignation, it is highly unlikely and would require Biden's consent.
