Congressional Baseball Game: Lawmakers and Advocacy for Patients' Rights.

Democratic and Republican lawmakers will play the annual Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park to raise funds for charity. Republicans won the last two games, and the Democrats' last win was in 2019. The game was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic. Last year's game raised $1.7 million for local charities, and a portion of the funds raised has been given to the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund since officers responded to a shooting at the Republican practice in 2017.
