Cohen Challenges Mosby for Baltimore Council President

Baltimore City Councilman Zeke Cohen has announced his candidacy for council president, setting up a competitive Democratic primary race against incumbent Nick Mosby in April 2024. Cohen, who has been critical of Mosby's leadership, touted his record on the council and spoke optimistically of turning Baltimore into the "next great American comeback city." Mosby has been dogged by several investigations during his first term, including a federal probe into his and his wife's financial dealings. Cohen's campaign reported a hefty balance of $372,351 in its January report, while Mosby's campaign had $14,539 in the bank.
