Boulet emerges victorious, ousts Guillory in Lafayette Mayor-President race

Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory was defeated by Monique Blanco Boulet in a bitter general election, with Blanco receiving 52% of the vote in the runoff compared to Guillory's 48%.
