Biden Administration Launches National Strategy to Combat Antisemitism

The Biden administration has released the first national strategy to combat antisemitism in the United States, calling on government, law enforcement, and schools to crack down on discrimination and online hate. The plan includes over 100 recommendations for the federal government to take, including workshops to counteract bias in hiring and the workplace, enhanced Holocaust education programs, and an interagency effort to eliminate barriers to reporting potential hate crimes. Last year saw a 36% increase in reported incidents of antisemitic assault, harassment, and vandalism in the US, the largest number since assessments began in 1979.
