President Joe Biden delivered a graduation speech at Howard University, a leading historically Black university, where he acknowledged that American history "has not always been a fairy tale" and that racism has long torn the country apart. He also spoke about the need to stand up against hate and choose love over disunion. During his speech, several students held handmade signs in silent protest over white supremacist violence.
