Florida Woman's Terrifying Encounter: Alligator Invades Kitchen

A Florida woman was shocked to find a nearly 8-foot alligator in her kitchen in Venice, Florida. The gator had pushed through a front screen door and made its way into the kitchen while the woman was in the living room. She called 911, and deputies and wildlife officials arrived to remove the reptile, which was then transferred to an alligator farm. The incident occurred during mating season, when gator sightings are more common in Florida.
