Power Outages Persist in St. Louis and Illinois Regions Following Severe Storms

Over 40,000 Ameren customers in the St. Louis region are still without power after storms caused widespread damage, knocking down trees and power lines and resulting in two deaths. Residents are dealing with spoiled food, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, and frustration, while Ameren prioritizes repairs for critical customers such as hospitals and water plants.
