Hiker Swept Away in Yosemite's Fast-Flowing Creek Remains Missing

A hiker is missing in Yosemite National Park after being swept away by a fast-flowing creek. Hayden T. Klemenok disappeared while backpacking with a group near Upper Chilnualna Falls. Despite warnings from California authorities about the dangerous conditions of rivers, streams, and lakes due to the melting snowpack, there have been numerous tragedies, with nearly two dozen people drowning or going missing since mid-April.
