Fierce storms in the St. Louis area resulted in one fatality, widespread power outages affecting over 89,000 customers, low water pressure, flooded roads, and fallen trees. A woman died when a tree fell on her parked car. The Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant lost power, leading to a boil-water advisory in certain areas. Water pressure was restored, but the advisory remains in effect. Damage to buildings and infrastructure was also reported.
