Deadly Storms Ravage St. Louis, Leaving Thousands Powerless

Fierce storms in the St. Louis area resulted in two deaths, widespread power outages affecting over 89,000 customers, low water pressure, flooded roads, and fallen trees. A 5-year-old boy died when a tree fell on his house, and a 33-year-old woman died when a tree fell on her parked car. The storms also caused damage to buildings, including a gallery and a restaurant under construction. A boil-water advisory was issued for certain areas, but water pressure was restored and no contamination was detected.
