Tornado damages buildings and injures 1 person in Montebello.

A landspout, a weaker type of tornado, hit Montebello, California, damaging multiple industrial buildings, cars, and injuring at least one person. Buildings were evacuated, and a search-and-rescue team was dispatched to look for anyone trapped in the wreckage. Gas and electric companies were called to the scene due to damage to utility lines. The damage appeared to be centered around the building of the Royal Paper Box Company.
