Multiple Wildfires Ravage New Jersey, Officials Making Progress.

A brush fire in West Milford, New Jersey, has grown to 250 acres in size, threatening nearly a dozen homes or other structures. The State Forest Fire Service is on site to contain the fire and prevent further spread, and firefighters from various departments on both sides of the state line responded. All horses have been evacuated from Echo Lake Stables, and residents are advised to keep their windows closed to avoid smoke. Wildfires are common this time of year, which has kept firefighters on alert.
