Multiple Tornadoes Cause Damage and Deaths in Texas and Other States

Perryton, a town in the Texas panhandle, was hit by one or more tornadoes causing fatalities and leaving much of the town in rubble. The exact number of deaths is yet to be confirmed. At least 30 trailer homes were damaged or destroyed, and up to 100 people with injuries ranging from scratches to a collapsed lung were treated at the hospital in Perryton. Emergency response teams have been deployed to the area, including resources from an emergency medical task force and search and rescue teams.
