Mudslide prompts evacuation of 30 Woodside homes.

A mudslide caused by a recent storm has shut down a road in Woodside, San Mateo County, isolating several homes. The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office has issued a voluntary evacuation warning for about 30 homes on the 600 to 800 block of Patrol Road, urging residents to leave immediately with their necessary essentials. Two homes were put under a mandatory evacuation order. The fear is that the mud would completely block the roadway, making it impossible for emergency responders to reach the area.
