"8-Alarm Brush Fire Ravages Owings Mills Area, Forces Evacuations"

A massive brush fire in the Owings Mills area of Baltimore County has escalated to an unprecedented eight alarms, with hundreds of firefighters from across Central Maryland fighting the blaze. The fire has spread rapidly since it began in the Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area, and is not yet contained. Crews are having difficulty shuttling water to the rural area, which lacks fire hydrants. Officials have evacuated 29 houses and closed several roads, but no injuries have been reported.
