Ex-CIA Officer Admits to Espionage Conspiracy

Former CIA officer Alexander Yuk Ching Ma pleaded guilty to conspiring to deliver classified U.S. national defense information to China. Ma, along with a relative, provided sensitive information to Chinese intelligence officers in 2001 and continued to assist them. Ma later worked for the FBI under surveillance, where he further engaged in espionage activities. He faces a 10-year prison sentence as part of a plea agreement.
