Missing Texas Teen Found Alive After 8 Years, Family and Police Confirm

A 25-year-old man, Rudy Farias, who went missing at the age of 17 in 2015, has been found alive in Houston after eight years. Farias was discovered unresponsive outside a church in southeast Houston and is currently recovering in the hospital. His mother believes he was badly abused and beaten. There have been inconsistencies in the mother's story since his disappearance. Farias had been diagnosed with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. Houston police had received a sighting report of Farias in 2018 but were unable to locate him at the time. Investigations are ongoing to determine his whereabouts during the years he was missing.
