US Deploys F-22 Raptors to Middle East in Response to Russian Aircraft Activity.

U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptors from Langley Air Force Base have been deployed to U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility to demonstrate the U.S.' ability to re-posture forces and deliver overwhelming power at a moment's notice. The deployment is in response to increasingly unsafe and unprofessional behavior by Russian aircraft in the region. The Raptors will integrate with coalition forces on the ground and in the air to improve security and stability in the region.
