US Army Identifies 2 Soldiers Killed in Alaska Training Vehicle Accident

Two soldiers from the 11th Airborne Division, Spc. Brian Joshua Snowden and Spc. Jeremy Daniel Evans, were killed when their transport vehicle flipped in a training area in Alaska. The accident occurred while 17 soldiers were riding in a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle on a dirt road. Twelve soldiers sustained injuries, with two critically injured soldiers flown to a medical center in Anchorage. Snowden and Evans joined the Army in July 2020 and had recently arrived in Alaska. Maj. Gen. Brian Eifler expressed condolences and emphasized the importance of supporting one another during challenging times.
