"Two U.S. Navy Sailors Lost at Sea in Red Sea Incidents"

The U.S. Navy has identified Aviation Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class Oriola Michael Aregbesola as the sailor lost overboard in the Red Sea. Aregbesola, who joined the Navy in July 2020 and reported to HSM-74 in December 2020, was deployed with a detachment aboard the USS Mason, which is part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Cmdr. Eric Kohut, HSM-74 commanding officer, praised Aregbesola's selfless character and outstanding performance, expressing condolences to his family and emphasizing his impact on the entire team.
