U.S. Navy sailor Michael Aregbesola, from South Florida, died in a non-combat related incident while serving in the Red Sea aboard the USS Mason. The 34-year-old aviation machinist was described as a selfless and thoughtful warrior by his commanding officer. The USS Mason had been involved in operations to protect commercial traffic in the region, including shooting down a missile launched from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen.
