Lachlan Murdoch withdraws defamation lawsuit against Crikey.

Lachlan Murdoch, CEO of Fox Corporation, dropped a defamation case against Australian publisher Crikey just days after Fox News settled its own defamation case with Dominion Voting Systems in the US. The case would have involved the use of documents from the American case in Crikey's defense. Murdoch did not wish to "further enable Crikey's use of the court to litigate a case from another jurisdiction that has already been settled and facilitate a marketing campaign designed to attract subscribers and boost their profits," according to his attorney.
