Coast Guard Rescues 3 People from Capsized Boat off New Jersey Coast

The Coast Guard successfully rescued three individuals who were found clinging to the hull of a capsized 18-foot vessel off the coast of New Jersey. The operator of the disabled vessel contacted the Coast Guard for assistance, stating that the boat was anchored in Great Bay but was going down due to inclement weather. A Coast Guard helicopter and a commercial salvage team responded to the distress call, and all three occupants were safely hoisted to the helicopter and taken to the Coast Guard's Atlantic City air station without any reported injuries.
