Multiple Fires Ravage Apartment Complexes in Nashville and DeKalb, Delaying Firefighters' Response

A gate issue at a South Nashville apartment complex delayed firefighters from responding to a fire, causing concern among residents. The gate prevented the Nashville Fire Department crews from accessing the scene for a couple of minutes until they obtained the necessary codes. Although the fire was contained to one breezeway, 10 families were displaced, and a cat is missing. The apartment complex management declined to comment on the gate issue.
