"Monroeville Officer Wounded in Armed Robbery Standoff, Suspect Arrested"

A Monroeville police officer was shot multiple times after approaching a suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a Crumbl Cookies store. The incident occurred shortly after the robbery at the Miracle Mile shopping center. The officer, who was hit while in his cruiser, was taken to Forbes Hospital and is in stable condition. The suspect was arrested without further incident, and two handguns were recovered.
