Apollo Theatre in Belvidere suffers roof collapse.

A structure collapse occurred during a concert at the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, Illinois, as severe storms with 90 mph winds blew through. The collapse happened about 30 minutes into the concert, and the injuries are believed to be serious. The number of people injured was not immediately known, and there was a request for 20 ambulances. The Apollo Theatre opened in 1921 as a stage play, movie, and vaudeville venue.
