American hero laid to rest in Ukraine

Christopher James Campbell, an American volunteer who moved to Ukraine to fight in the war against Russia, was killed defending the city of Bakhmut. He is one of at least nine Americans known to have died in Ukraine since the invasion began in February 2022. Campbell's funeral was held in Kyiv, where he was praised for his bravery and dedication to helping Ukraine.
