Deputy Rescues Trapped Baby from Car Crash

Deputy Sgt. Dave Musgrove of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office saved the life of a 6-month-old baby trapped in a car after a high-speed motorcycle collision. Despite the chaotic scene, he performed chest compressions on the infant, who initially had no pulse and wasn't breathing, until the baby finally took a deep breath. The baby is now alive and receiving treatment, thanks to Musgrove's quick actions before EMS arrived. The mother and another child involved in the crash are also doing well.
