The pair came in as strays and are now inseparable, with MACC hoping they leave together. Adoptions are down and surrenders are up 20% from 2022, which was a record-setting year, due to housing issues. Large dog adoptions have slowed nationwide, but MACC is waiving adoption fees for dogs 7 months or older this weekend and encourages fostering, donating, or volunteering at local animal shelters.
